Every year growing up I would ask for the same present when my birthday rolled around….A MASSAGE!! At that time I was ignorant to the cascade of beneficial physiological effects resulting from treatment but my body seemed to get the idea. This love for massage as well as an interest in herbs, nutrition, and fitness prompted me to begin a Holistic Health Practitioners Program at Healing Hands, a local school in San Diego. Throughout my schooling, I was drawn to the therapeutic modalities such as sports, myofasical and neuromuscular massage. This along with a desire to study anatomy leas me to seek an environment I could put my skills to use, aiding people who are recovering from injury or that experience chronic pain. Feeling the profound results of regular massage on my own body continues to inspire me to share the fift of touch with others.
