Around the holidays, eating healthy can prove to be a challenge… Stuffing, pies, cookies… The temptations to stray are definitely there!

Here is a recipe that is not only easy to follow, but very yummy!

Dark Chocolate Banana Oat Cookies

1 cup instant oats
2-3 big, ripe bananas
About 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine bananas and oats (We use our hands… More fun, as long as your hands are clean!). The mixture should be gooey. If it seems too dry, add more bananas. Mix in the chocolate chips. Eyeball it to see if you need more or less… we usually only need 1/2 a cup.

Form mixture into balls and place on a greased cookie sheet
Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until bottom of cookie is golden brown. Let cool and enjoy!
